Well…the Blues scored. That was one good thing – and got a point. And Lars Eller scored his first goal in his NHL debut. So, there were good points to the game. The Blues had lots of shots, created lots of chances and finally broke that awful 0-26 powerplay. It could be worse. However, game reports are here:

The Oshie, Berglund and Eller line had a good game – fuel for the fire to keep Eller in the NHL perhaps?  Again, it’s unsure when Andy McDonald will be back so Eller might very well play over the weekend.  Three games to evaluate a player is much better than just the one. There are still questions over certain players though. When will Brad Boyes score again? When will Brad Winchester start using his size, be mean and crash the net? Why did Cam Janssen only get just over a minute of ice time last night?

Two very tough games coming up this weekend against the Flyers and the Thrashers. We need points.
