Three signings in the last few days for the Blues (however, expect all three to be Peoria players) together with a goodbye.
Brennan Evans – the 28 year old defenseman signed a two way contract with the Blues. Evans has spent the last seven seasons in the AHL.
Nathan Oystrick – this 27 year old defenseman also signed a two way contract with the Blues. He has played 56 NHL games with the Atlanta Thrashers and Anaheim Ducks registering 12 points and 52 penalty minutes.
Nicholas Drazenovic – drafted by the Blues in the 2005 draft, Drazenovic played in 58 games for the Rivermen last season, registering 19 goals, 20 assists and 40 penalty minutes. Drazenovic has also signed a two way deal but if injuries hit the Blues, expect Drazenovic to get a call.
Also, it’s goodbye to Darryl Sydor, who played for the Blues last season. Sydor is retiring and has been named Assistant Coach for the AHL’s Houston Aeros. Good luck, Mr Sydor and thank you.
