Has Nick Drazenovic done enough to stick with the Blues?
The Blues have re-assigned four players back to Peoria: Hensick, Reaves, Spina and Arsene. Nathan Oystrick has also been sent back to Peoria – and Dave Scatchard and Chris Porter have been placed on waivers and will report to the Rivermen should they clear.
This is obviously good news for Alex Pietrangelo, Ian Cole and Tyson Strachan. This leaves the Blues with 8 D-men. Colaiacovo is hoping to play on Saturday so the possibility remains of one more cut.
Nick Drazenovic – a very versatile player who has had a very good preseason – looks to have sealed the final available forward roster spot. Drazenovic has the skill – and is calm and seems unlikely to panic. It’s great for him – and we wish him luck with the squad.
