It’s not been overly quiet in  Blues world:

• Keith Tkachuk has been honoured with the “No Guts, No Glory” Award from TSN.  This is awarded to player that demonstrates courage by putting themselves in harm’s way for their teams.  The video is available to watch on TSN.
• Davis Payne is now officially the Blues Head Coach.  You can watch video of the news conference on the Blues Official Site.
• Interestingly, Jeremy Rutherford of the Post Dispatch reports that Jonas Junland has signed a one year contract with Farjestad of the Swedish Elite League – having apparently turned down a one way $500,000 contract from the Blues. The Blues have yet to officially comment.
• More from Jeremy Rutherford who notes that Rick Wamsley has been fired as Peoria Coach. Wamsley took over the Rivermen when Davis Payne was called up to replace Andy Murray in January.
